FC Pre-polished Ferrule Field Assembly Fast Connector is a quick-connect device used for installation and maintenance of fiber-optic communication networks. It adopts threaded connection and reliable physical contact design, and is suitable for applications with long-distance transmission and high stability requirements, such as telecommunications infrastructure and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH).
Through pre-polishing technology, users can quickly and easily complete fiber optic connections on site without complex tools and additional polishing steps. Just cut the fiber, insert the connector and lock it. The typical insertion loss is about 0.3 dB, and the return loss can reach more than 45 dB (PC polishing). This connector is widely used in data centers, local area networks (LANs), and fiber-optic sensor networks.
