The C Band Variable Gain EDFA Mini Module is designed to amplify optical signals in the extended C++ band with high stability and precision. This compact amplifier module features a built-in Gain Module (GM), which supports multiple control modes such as pump laser current control, signal gain stabilization, and output power regulation to ensure optimal amplification performance.
As shown in the system function diagram below, the module utilizes Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGA) at the output stage, allowing for dynamic adjustment of gain based on real-time signal conditions. Signal power is continuously monitored at multiple key points within the module to maintain stable output and protect system performance.
With its miniaturized design and intelligent control features, this EDFA module is ideal for integration into high-density optical communication systems, CATV, DWDM networks, and lab test platforms.
