The 25G BiDi SFP28 is an SFP28 optical module that employs BiDi (bi-directional) technology for bi-directional data transmission over a single optical fiber, supporting data rates of 25Gbps per port.

BiDi technology utilizes optical multiplexing devices (WDM) to divide the optical signal into two different wavelengths, each used in a different transmission direction. This makes it possible to transmit and receive data simultaneously on a single fiber, saving fiber resources and simplifying network cabling.
