“Simplex CWDM OADM for East-and-West Traffic” is a device designed for unidirectional optical fiber communication, specifically for managing traffic in either the east or west direction. Utilizing Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology, it combines multiple wavelengths of light signals into a single optical fiber to increase transmission capacity. The Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM) function allows for the flexible insertion or removal of specific wavelengths without affecting others, enabling efficient management of unidirectional traffic in the east or west direction.
