OLT
OLT refers to Optical Line Terminal (OLT), which is a key device in fiber optic communication networks, mainly used to connect the operator’s transmission network with the subscriber’s terminal equipment to realize the access and distribution of fiber optic communication networks.
OLT is usually located in the core part of the fiber optic communication network and is responsible for scheduling, forwarding and management of optical signals. It is connected to the fiber node equipment (such as fiber optic switches, fiber optic routers, etc.) in the transmission network, and is responsible for receiving optical signals from the transmission network and distributing them to the user terminal equipment (such as ONUs, ONTs, etc.).
