C Band Fixed Gain EDFA Mini Module, 17dB Gain is a compact and high-reliability erbium-doped fiber amplifier designed for stable signal amplification in DWDM C-band systems. This mini module delivers a fixed optical gain of 17 dB, ensuring consistent signal enhancement across varying input power levels. Featuring a built-in high-reliability pump laser and advanced APC (Automatic Power Control), AGC (Automatic Gain Control), and ACC (Automatic Current Control) modes, it provides precise control and optimal performance for booster, pre-amplifier, or in-line configurations.
Housed in a miniature 70×90 mm MSA-compliant package, the module is ideal for space-constrained applications in metro, access, and backbone optical networks. It offers low noise figure, fast transient response, and robust operation under Telcordia GR-1312 compliance.
