Optical Light Source

Optical Light Source (OLS) is a device used to generate optical signals, which are commonly used for testing, measurement and calibration in fiber optic communication systems. The optical signal generated by the light source can be used to test the transmission characteristics of optical fibers, measure the insertion loss of fiber optic connectors, and perform optical power measurements. Light sources are often used together with optical power meters to form an optical power test system for evaluating the performance of fiber optic links.
