10G CWDM SFP+

The 10G CWDM SFP+ is an SFP+ optical module for network connectivity that supports data rates of 10Gbps (i.e., 10 gigabits per second) and utilizes CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology.

CWDM is a wavelength division multiplexing technology that divides optical signals into several different wavelength channels, each with a large spacing between them (typically 20 nm.) CWDM SFP+ modules allow the transmission of optical signals at multiple wavelengths on a single optical fiber, thus enabling multiplexing and tapping to improve fiber utilization. Each CWDM SFP+ module is typically used for a specific wavelength channel.
