DWDM, CWDM & OADM
WDM optical networks rely on fiber multiplexers (MUX) and demultiplexers (DEMUX) to combine and separate multi-wavelength optical signals. The MUX combines signals at the transmitter, while the DEMUX separates them at the receiver. In CWDM networks, CWDM modules such as CWDM MUX/DEMUX and CWDM OADM are used, while DWDM networks utilize DWDM MUX/DEMUX and DWDM OADM. FiberLife offers a comprehensive range of WDM modules that allow for the expansion of existing fiber capacity. Our CWDM, DWDM and OADM modules are available in a variety of package options, such as ABS Pigtail modules, rack cases and LGX cartridges, among others.
