Fiber Array & V-Groove

Fiber Array and V-Groove are two common structures in fiber optic assemblies used to locate and secure fibers in fiber optic communication systems.

1. Fiber Array:
A fiber array is a structure in which multiple optical fibers are grouped together, usually in a matrix arrangement. Each fiber in a fiber array has a fixed spacing and position, and can be precisely manufactured to ensure consistent position and spacing between fibers. Fiber optic arrays are commonly used in fiber optic connectors, fiber optic couplers, and other components to connect or couple multiple fibers together for transmission and distribution of optical signals.

2. V-Groove:
V-Groove is a V-shaped groove structure, usually used for positioning and fixing optical fibers.V-Groove is flanked by two V-shaped grooves, so that optical fibers can be precisely placed in the grooves to fix their position and orientation.V-Groove is usually used in fiber optic encapsulation, fiber optic couplers, fiber optic arrays, and other assemblies, which are used to ensure that the optical fibers are accurately aligned and fixed.
