Single Fiber CWDM OADM for East or West Traffic

“Simplex CWDM OADM for East or West Traffic” is a unidirectional optical fiber communication device designed to manage traffic in either the east or west direction. It utilizes Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology to combine multiple wavelengths of light signals into a single optical fiber, enhancing transmission capacity. The Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM) function allows for the flexible insertion or removal of specific wavelengths without affecting others, enabling efficient management of traffic in one direction—either east or west.

Front Panel Details：

A(Common port):

Trunk input and output in west and east traffic.
LC, SC, ST and FC connectors available.

B(Add/Drop port for specific wavelength):

Add and Drop on west or east.
LC, SC, ST and FC connectors available.
Compliant to ITU-T G.657A1 CWDM standard from 1270nm to 1610nm, with 20nm increase.

NOTE:

• Actual layout depends on the chosen connector type as well as other factors. However, the principal scheme stays the same.
