Dual 2×2 Bypass Opto-Mechanical optical switches
The Dual 2x2B Opto-Mechanical Fiber Optic Switch efficiently redirects four incoming optical signals into four output fibers using an opto-mechanical configuration, activated via an electrical control signal. The switch integrates electrical position sensors for precise operation. Utilizing thin-film filter technology, this switch offers a robust method for altering light paths. Its simplified platform design enhances reliability while significantly reducing production costs. The novel design also minimizes sensitivity to moving part positions, ensuring unmatched stability and cost efficiency.
