FBT Fiber Coupler Splitter with a ABS box refers to a Fused Biconical Taper (FBT) device that splits or combines optical signals in fiber optic networks. In the FBT process, fibers are fused and stretched together to create a taper, enabling control over the splitting ratio (e.g., 50/50 or 70/30). FBT Fiber Coupler/Splitters provide exceptionally low insertion loss, low polarization sensitivity, and outstanding stability in various environmental conditions. They offer precise coupling ratios ranging from 50/50 to 1/99, and are compatible with different fiber types, including 250μm bare fiber, 3mm, and 900μm loose tube fiber. These devices ensure tight uniformity across a broad wavelength range, covering both 1310 nm and 1550 nm windows.
