Corning SMF-28e+ Singlemode Bare Fiber is a high-performance optical fiber designed for long-distance and high-bandwidth communication systems. It features low attenuation at key wavelengths (such as 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm), making it ideal for long-range signal transmission. The fiber supports full-spectrum operation from 1260 nm to 1625 nm, including optimized performance in the “water peak” region (1383 nm), allowing for the transmission of more wavelengths and increased capacity. Compatible with standard single-mode fibers and compliant with ITU-T G.652.D standards, it is well-suited for applications such as Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and modern communication networks. With its bare fiber construction, SMF-28e+ provides excellent mechanical performance and long-term reliability, even in harsh environments, ensuring the stability of optical networks.
