The FiberLife 1310/1550nm FWDM Filter Wavelength Division Multiplexer is a high-performance passive optical component designed for bidirectional optical signal transmission. Utilizing advanced thin-film filter technology, it enables the multiplexing and demultiplexing of 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths over a single optical fiber—ideal for single-fiber bidirectional communication. Typically used in pairs, one unit transmits at 1310nm and receives at 1550nm (1310nmT/1550nmR), while the other does the reverse (1550nmT/1310nmR), helping to significantly reduce fiber usage.
