Optical Switches

Optical Switches are devices used in optical systems to switch the transmission path of optical signals between different fiber channels. Optical switches are usually composed of optical devices and control circuits that enable fast and reliable switching of optical signals, thus realizing flexible routing and management of optical signals.

Optical switches are usually characterized by fast response, low insertion loss, high isolation, etc., and are capable of switching optical signals within milliseconds or microseconds. According to the different working principles, optical switches can be divided into mechanical optical switches, magneto-optical optical switches, electro-optical optical switches and other types.
