The FiberLife 980/1480/1550nm FWDM Filter Wavelength Division Multiplexer is a high-performance passive optical component designed for wavelength multiplexing in fiber amplifier and laser systems. Specifically, the 1550nmT/1480nmR and 1550nmT/980nmR FWDM modules enable the efficient combination or separation of signal light (1550nm) and pump light (1480nm or 980nm), making them ideal for use in EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) and fiber laser applications. By allowing the 1550nm signal to pass through while reflecting the pump wavelength, these FWDMs ensure optimal power coupling into erbium-doped fiber, significantly enhancing amplification efficiency.
